5 Days Kilimanjaro Mountain Trekking via Marangu Route

What to expect

The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is the only Kilimanjaro trail that offers hut accommodations instead of tents. This 5-day trek is popular for its relatively gentle slope and shorter itinerary, making it a great choice for trekkers with limited time. Despite being considered one of the easier routes, the rapid ascent can be challenging, so proper acclimatization is important.

Expect lush rainforest trails, scenic alpine meadows, and stark lunar landscapes as you climb towards Uhuru Peak. With cozy hut stays, hot meals, and the guidance of experienced mountain crew, this trek is ideal for climbers seeking both comfort and adventure on Africa’s highest peak.
