Day by Day Experience

Tarangire National Park

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Depart early from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its giant baobabs and vast elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River, spotting giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, lions, and over 400 bird species. Picnic lunch inside the park before continuing the adventure. In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park (Central)

After breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro Highlands and descend onto the Serengeti plains via Nabi Gate. Enjoy a game drive en route, keeping watch for cheetahs, lions, and elephants. Arrive at your camp in Central Serengeti by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge

Day 5: Serengeti National Park (Migration Focus – Seasonal)

Dedicate the day to following the Great Migration, depending on the season—whether it’s calving grounds in the south (Dec–March), river crossings in the north (July–Sept), or massive herds in the central/western corridors. Even outside of migration season, Serengeti guarantees spectacular wildlife encounters. Dinner and overnight at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge

Serengeti National Park

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Karatu)

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before heading toward Ngorongoro. Stop at scenic viewpoints and Maasai villages along the way. Arrive in Karatu by late afternoon, where you can relax in the cooler highlands. Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge

Ngorongoro Crater

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden,” the crater is home to lions, elephants, hippos, buffalo, and the rare black rhino. Picnic lunch on the crater floor near the hippo pool before ascending the crater rim. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha, where your safari concludes.
